Production Support
HR Harmony can be used daily to provide production support for human resources business applications. HR Harmony provides the capability to copy a single employee or group of employees who have a production HR Payroll or Time problem. In order to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues, the employee(s) production data is replicated to a test system. Depending on the nature of the issue, payroll, time, general ledger or third-party remittance data may also be selected for transfer. Resolution of production issues is often an iterative process where production data is downloaded and different master data or configuration changes are made and tested to determine the appropriate method of resolution. The data transfer portion of HR Harmony facilitates the rapid transfer of refreshed employee data reducing the cycle time for corrections and improving the accuracy of the solutions implemented.

Regression Testing
HR Harmony can be used to improve the accuracy and reduce the cost and effort associated with regression testing for SAP Upgrades, the application of HR Support Packs, OSS Note implementation, the application of BSI TUBs, and the roll-out of new SAP HR processes. The tool can be used to build or refresh test systems with an entire employee population from another SAP system or a subset sample based on user-selected organizational criteria. HR Harmony ensures that you always have a representative test population for the testing activities. Data transfer is efficient and can be performed ad-hoc ensuring that testing data reflects the most current production data. HR Harmony allows you to compare payroll results data across SAP systems to assess the potential impact of system changes to key business processes. User specified selection criteria allow the user the ability compare key groups of employees or specific wage types.

Training System
Data HR Harmony provides the ability to import, refresh or create training data. The ability to scramble or transform live data from other systems provides the ability to use company HR data while protecting employee confidentiality. Cloning capability provides the ability to create sample employee master data that can be easily replicated to provide training attendees with the same set of training data for classroom exercises. Using pre-defined templates, training data can be refreshed rapidly to support frequent training activities.

Client/System
Build HR Harmony improves the efficiency of SAP landscape maintenance by allowing the periodic refresh of HR, payroll and time transaction data without the overhead associated with full client copies. HR Harmony, with the ability to transform or scramble transferred data, can also be used to provide selective secure SAP HR data to other SAP systems.
